Design your own handbag

Do you have an idea about a handbag design that you would like to make, but have no idea how to start? If you are an advanced sewer, this course is for you. You will learn how to design, sketch and make patterns for your own handbag design. This lesson is a one day course, about six hours. Please, let us know if you prefer weekends or weekdays.

Make your own handbag

Would you like to learn how to make your own handbag? This course is for intermediate sewers, who have a sewing machine to take with her to the lessons. This course will cover making of different kinds of bags, including tote, shoulder bag and a wallet. We will be using different materials with the bags. Students must provide the materials. This course will be once a week for six weeks, three hours each. Participants will be informed what to bring to the first lesson.

How to measure your window and calculate how much fabric you need for making your own curtains

This course is for people, who would like to learn how to measure their windows for custom made and ready made curtains. You will also learn how to calculate how much fabric you will need and you will be explained how to sew the curtains. This is a one day course that will take six hours. If you wish to learn how to sew the curtains, you can continue to the next course explained below.

How to make your own curtains

This course is for people who already know how to measure the window and calculate how much fabric is needed. You will learn how to make different styles of curtain headings, such as triple pinch pleat, cartridge pleat, goblet pleat, modern reverse pleat. You will learn the professional way to make curtains. You will be making small samples. You will be able to make your own custom made curtains after this course. You must bring your own sewing machine and your own materials. This course is once a week for four weeks, three hours each.
